Jet Aerospace's core expertise lies in close tolerance multi-axis CNC machining of various aircraft grade materials like titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum. With support services like heat treating, ultrasonic test labs, and industrial platers all within close proximity, Jet Aerospace is able to cost effectively meet tough delivery requirements.
Jet Aerospace's Quality Control Department operates to ISO 9000 and MIL-I-45208 requirements. QC personnel utilize our Brown & Sharpe CMM, 24" Starret Digital Height Gage, 30" x 120" granite surface plate, optical comparator, and extensive gauging equipment to verify the quality of our product.
Jet's workforce is primarily journeymen machinists and toolmakers who utilize the latest technology in CAD/CAM software to support our multi-axis capabilities. Our expertise at designing unique fixtures leads to manufacturing solutions for our customers with long term cost savings.
Programming to customer supplied models is common practice with measureable benefits to the customer. Our workforce has many years of experience in machining a wide array of materials such as Titanium, Monel, Inconel, Stellite, Custom 465, 15-5 stainless, and 7050 Alum.
Jet's capability in vertical/horizontal machining includes 3 and 4 axis. Our well maintained equipment is capable of holding tolerances to .0002, while at the same time being very aggressive at stock removal. Our horizontal machining center can be equipped with two Kurt cluster towers for high production jobs. Our CNC turning ranges from 2 to 4 axis with sub-spindle and milling capabilities. Our CNC wire EDM has 4 axis capability and wire range of .006 to .012. The CNC RAM / EDM has 4 axis capabilities with 4 position tool changer.
